Slide the latch and open the duplex cover to remove the jammed paper

Slide the latch, and then open the duplex cover to remove the jammed paper
Remove jammed paper in the exit area

For Tray 1, open the side door

For optional trays, open the side door of the specified optional tray

Open the paper transport unit door to remove the jammed paper
431‑454 and 456‑458 paper jams
Push the release button, and then slide the output finisher or mailbox to the right to remove the jammed paper

Remove the staple cartridge holder
Remove the jammed staples
Insert the staple cartridge holder until it clicks into place
