Preparing your printer
Unpacking the printer
Remove the printer and all external packaging
Remove the tape, internal packaging, and locking pin
Connect the cables and power on the printer
Installing the high-capacity feeder (HCF)
Power off the printer
Remove the high‑capacity feeder from the box
Remove the tape and internal packaging
Attach the high‑capacity feeder docking bracket
Attach the high‑capacity feeder to the printer
Power up the printer
Load the high‑capacity feeder
Installing a standard finisher (punch, stapler, booklet)
Power off the printer
Unpack the standard finisher and remove all packaging material
Roll the standard finisher from the pallet
Remove the tape, internal packaging, and clamps
Unpack the accessories from their separate boxes
Install the standard finisher bridge unit accessory
Attach the support brackets
Attach the standard finisher bin trays
Attach the side cover and load the staples unit
Attach the standard finisher power connections

Open the multipurpose feeder and load the print media
Flex and load envelopes
Loading the 2,000‑sheet high-capacity feeder
Open the tray and adjust the paper guides for width and length
Flex the sheets of paper back and forth to loosen them
Load the high‑capacity feeder
Replacing supplies
Replacing the toner cartridge
Open the front door
Remove the toner cartridge
Unpack the new toner cartridge
Insert the new toner cartridge
Recycle the used toner cartridge
Replacing the photoconductor unit
Unpack and insert a new photoconductor unit
Recycle a used photoconductor unit
Replacing the staple cartridge
Remove the empty staple cartridge
Replace and insert the new staple cartridge
Replacing the waste toner bottle
Power off the printer
Open the front door
Remove the used waste toner bottle
Insert the new waste toner bottle until it clicks into place
Close the front door

Remove the appropriate media trays
Remove the pick rollers from the shafts
Insert the new pick rollers onto the shafts
