Servicing the automatic document feeder (ADF)
Preparing your printer
Unpacking the printer
Remove the printer and all packaging material
Roll the printer from the pallet
Remove the tape from the printer
Remove all internal packaging, insert the toner cartridges, and adjust the stabilizing pads
Connect the cables and power on the printer
Installing the high-capacity feeder (HCF)
Power off the printer
Remove the high‑capacity feeder from the box
Remove the tape and internal packaging
Attach the high‑capacity feeder docking bracket
Attach the high‑capacity feeder to the printer
Power up the printer
Load the high‑capacity feeder
Installing a standard finisher (punch, stapler, booklet)
Power off the printer
Unpack the standard finisher and remove all packaging material
Roll the standard finisher from the pallet
Remove the tape, internal packaging, and clamps
Unpack the accessories from their separate boxes
Install the standard finisher bridge unit accessory
Attach the support brackets
Attach the standard finisher bin trays
Attach the side cover and load the staples unit
Attach the standard finisher power connections

Open the tray and adjust the paper guides for width and length
Flex the sheets of paper back and forth to loosen them
