Before you begin, make sure that the SMTP settings are configured. For more information, see Configuring the SMTP settings.
Load an original document into the ADF tray or on the scanner glass.
From the control panel, navigate to Scan > E-mail.
Enter the needed information, and then select Next.
If necessary, configure the settings.
Select Scan, and then send the email.
Send emails from your printer using a shortcut option. Follow these steps to set up the shortcut.
Send copies of urgent notices or documents through the printer or from the computer.
