Note: Before solving the problem, print the Print Quality Test Pages. From the home screen, touch Settings > Troubleshooting > Print Quality Test Pages.
Step 1
Check if the printer is using a genuine and supported Lexmark toner cartridge.
Note: If the cartridge is not supported, then install a supported one.
Print the document.
Are fine lines printed correctly?
The problem is solved.
Go to step 2.
Step 2
Increase toner darkness.
From the home screen, touch Settings > Print > Quality > Toner Darkness.
Contact customer support.
Check the printer jam recovery settings to print the jammed pages.
Are there vertical white lines or voids on your prints? Check the toner and specify the correct paper setting to resolve this print quality issue.
