Scan to Network

The N value appears instead of S value in final action column from LPM full report

Overview

When you export the Lexmark print management (LPM) full report and check the Final Action column, it shows the value N instead of S after performing a scan job that was released to a network.

Referring to the Print Release (PR) manual below, it shows the definition for Final Action values except forN, which is not defined in the list and conflicts with the definition of S.

Explanation

The value of Nis described as a scan job invoked by the Scan to Network profile of Print Release. This means that performing a scan using the Scan to Network profile will log N under the Final action column in the LPM Full Report.

The value for S will only be logged when performing a Scan to Network task, the Device Usage app is installed and enabled on the printer.
