A5 size paper jammed inside the photoconductor

Issue description

Printing in duplex using an A5 size paper is causing 200.xx paper jams.

It is observed that the leading edge of the paper is usually stuck in the photoconductor.

Solution

• Check the paper settings and make sure it matches the size and type of paper being used.
• Turn the paper upside down inside the tray.
• Switch the paper between the tray (landscape) and multi‑purpose feeder (portrait).
• Try using a different brand of A5 size paper.
• If issue persists, replace the imaging unit. To order the imaging unit, follow these steps:


1. Go to Lexmark.com.



2. Click Supplies & Accessories. In the dropdown menu, click Find Supplies.



3. In the search bar, type the printer model or supplies part number. Click Find my supplies.



4. In the product page, scroll down and look for the Supplies tab.



5. Choose the product to order and Add to Cart.
