Overview
When using a Lexmark MX710, MX711, MX810, MX811, or MX812 to send faxes; the fax recipient might report that the fax quality is grainy or pixilated.
Recommended solution
You can adjust the device’s Fax Resolution in order to improve the quality of a fax being sent. To do this:

On the touch screen, press

Touch Settings.

Touch Analog Fax Setup.

Touch Fax Send Settings.

Find Resolution and touch the left or right arrows to adjust the value.
NOTE: You can change the resolution from Standard to up to 600dpi (Ultra Fine).

When done, touch Submit to store the setting and then hit the home button.
