Issue Description:
Whenever you replace supplies inside the printer, you may notice excessive toner dust, usually of mixed colors (i.e., purple or brown), on the Yellow Imaging Unit.

Solution:
The existence of toner dust in itself, particularly that of individual colors (Yellow, Magenta, or Cyan) inside the printer, is considered normal (as described in
Lexmark CS820 & CX82x ? Excess Toner (Dust) Can Be Found Inside the Printer).
However, mixed colored toner dust (i.e., purple or brown) could be a sign of waster toner leaking from the Image Transfer Unit (ITU), especially if its concentration is seen only on the yellow imaging unit or below the right-hand side of the ITU.
Should you find the level of dusting prohibitive, please contact Lexmark Technical Support to set up printer service.
