What you will see
The printer posts a 456.84 Paper Jam and gives instructions to remove the paper jammed from the finisher rear door.
Possible cause
The instructions shown in the printer’s control panel applies to scenarios wherein paper is indeed jammed in the finisher rear door. However, this may sometimes be a false error where no actual paper is jammed in the rear of the finisher. In some cases, the error is most likely due to an open or improperly closed staple door.
Suggested Remedy
Follow the instructions shown in the control panel to clear the finisher of any jammed paper. If no jammed paper is found, however, check the staple cartridge door and make sure that it is closed properly.
