Multifunction: MB2236, MB2236i
Issue Description:
Envelopes develop wrinkles when printed with the rear door closed.

Solution:
It is recommended to keep the Rear/Back Door open and both blue nip release latches (encircled in the image below) down position to reduce force on envelope when printing envelopes.
This will improve the wrinkling to a lesser degree.
Note: The Rear/Back Door must remain open when lowering the blue latches.![](https://publications.lexmark.com/media/ids_assets/images/transparent.png)
Additional Information:
- Envelopes should be fed via the manual feeder.
- Feed the envelope in the direction specified by owner’s manual (example: Flap towards the center or flap towards the edge of the manual feeder). This should help keep the envelope flat.
