Perform a power-on-reset (POR) by powering the printer off and power it back on.

Open the printer front door and remove the toner cartridge.

Remove the black imaging unit.

Check the imaging unit's photoconductor drum (A) for any marks.

If there are no marks with the photoconductor drum, Insert the imaging unit (1) and toner cartridge (2) back into the printer.

Perform a test print and check if the PQ issue still appears.
- If the issue appears, proceed to the next step.

Should the issue persist, replace the Black Imaging Unit with Part number:
- Black Return Program Imaging Unit - 58D0Z00
- Black Imaging Unit - 58D0ZA0
