Overview
The Omnikey driver currently disables all polling technologies except for HID ( Human Interface Device) proximity. However, some new card readers get different values read when users swipe the badge.
Solution
The Omnikey5427ck v1.2.2 driver allows users to disable the Config Cards polling technology that will fix the issue. To disable the “Config Cards”, open the Omnikey Configuration Web Page, disable "Config Cards" new polling technology, and then remove and re-attach the card reader to the printer. The card reader will always read the correct value.
