Overview
This article will guide you in how to manually start LDD services correctly, which is necessary during LDD server downtimes.
Restarting app services
Open Services.msc (click Start on your computer > select Run and type "Services.msc") and start/restart these services in the following order:
NOTE:
- Make sure to allow each service to fully start before running the next entry.
- Depending on the install type (Workgroup or Enterprise), some services may not be available on a single system.
IMPORTANT! It is highly recommended to contact Lexmark Solutions Support when performing these steps.
On the Database Server |
1. | Firebird Server (DefaultInstance) |
| NOTE: Some applications' setups use MS SQL Server. If your SQL Server requires a restart, please make sure to work with your Database Admin as the server may be used by other applications. |
