Cannot Connect to identity service provider error message

Issue Description:

The message “Cannot connect to the Identity Service Provider. Contact your system administrator.” message can be caused by:

  1. A loss of network connectivity at the printer.

  2. The end user inputs incorrect credentials when;

    1. Manually authenticating at the printer.

    2. Manually registering a badge at the printer.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, follow the procedures below:

  1. Restore network connectivity.

  2. Retry the operation using correct credentials.

    In this case, this is not the correct error message.

    Update the Cloud Authentication eSF application to show the correct error message when invalid credentials are entered.
