Getting logged out from Cloud Fleet Management portal when downloading logs

Issue Description:

Printer tasks can be generated in requesting a log file from the printer to the Lexmark Cloud Services. When the log file is ready, a "Download" link will be shown in the Logs section of the printer details page on the Cloud Fleet Management portal.

When a user clicks on the download link from the portal, it will log the user out and will be redirected to the Cloud Services login page.

Solution:

Make sure that the user has a File Service Administration role. This role is required in order to download printer logs and it must be granted to the user from the Account Management portal in Lexmark Cloud services.

Follow these steps in adding roles to users. Note: This can only be done by an administrator in the partner’s organization.

  1. From the Account Management web portal, click Users > Users.

  2. Click the E-mail address of the user needing the File Service Administrator role.

  3. Click Edit in the Assigned Roles banner.

  4. Under the User Roles tab, click the +Assign button.

  5. Click the check box next to the File Service Administrator role in Custom Roles table.

  6. Click the Assign Roles button at the bottom of the page.
