Defect Symptom"Jitter" refers to very fine (~1mm) light or dark horizontal lines that consistently repeat from the top to the bottom of the page.
TroubleshootingPerform the "Color Adjust" procedure in the "Quality" menu.
Ask the customer to print the "Print Defects Guide" in the "Help" menu and review the print samples.
If the defect appears in a single color (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, or Black), replace the toner cartridge.
