When printing a document, vertical white lines appear on a colored page. These white lines can appear on a specific color or a combination of colors, depending on the cause of the issue.
Vertical white lines on a colored page
Touch the Status/Supplies icon in the printer control panel. Check the supply status and replace those that are low or empty.
Proceed with the next step if all supplies register sufficient amounts.
Print the Print Quality Samples. From the control panel, navigate through: Settings > Report > Print Quality Pages.
Enter the settings menu: Print > Quality > Advanced Imaging > Color Adjust > Start, and print a test page.
Note: Color Adjust can be performed at the control panel or the embedded web server (EWS).
Are you seeing vertical white lines on your prints? Make sure that you are using the recommended paper type.
Check the paper settings or load paper from a fresh package to stop seeing vertical dark lines on your prints.
