Splotches of random color print in areas that should not have them. These marks may not cover the entire page from left to right, but they usually do cover the page from top to bottom.
Print the Device Statistics Page. (User's Guide provides instructions for navigating through the printer menus).
Check whether there is a PC life warning on the Device Statistics Page. Replace the Photoconductor Unit if necessary.
If there is no PC life warning or the issue persists after performing the steps mentioned above, an issue may exist within the machine's hardware. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions.
