Overview
A 'Check Package' or 'Remove Internal Packaging' error message appears on the printer. This indicates that some of the packing material shipped with the printer had remained inside the device when the unit was powered on.
Troubleshooting
Steps | Actions |
1 | Power off the printer. |
2 | Open the printer and verify whether any internal packaging materials were left inside during setup. Remove any that you find. (Please or download the Setup Sheet (CSx10 / CXx10) for further instructions.) |
3 | Make sure the fuser exit sensor is not broken, dislodged, improperly installed or stuck with paper debris. |
4 | Make sure the fuser flag is not broken. Note: It is possible that the flag is not broken, but is damaged. (Please for further instructions.)

5 | If this issue requires a service call, please contact Lexmark Technical Support for other troubleshooting suggestions. |
