What you will hear
When scanning or copying an image using the Automatic Document Feed (ADF) scanner, it makes a slight metal-to-metal squeaking or squealing noise. The noise does not seem to occur when using the flatbed scanner or when sending a print job from the computer (i.e., not using the scanner unit at all). In such cases, the issue is temporary and can be easily resolved without service. Follow the directions in the table below to resolve this issue.
