What you will see
There appear to be scratches on the plastic along the bottom inside of the printer, underneath the glass plate of the flatbed scanner. Click here to see an example.
Recommended actions
As long as the scratches are on the plastic of the printer, and not on the scanner glass itself, the printer is fine. These scratches will not affect the operation of the printer or the quality of resulting scans and copies.
