240.06 or 240.06A paper jam error code when using the multipurpose feeder

Issue description

When printing from the multipurpose feeder, a 240.06 or 240.06A error code appears on the control panel.

Solution

1. Remove the stack of paper from the multipurpose feeder.



2. Check that the quality of the paper loaded.



3. Replace the paper stack if it is damaged.



4. Load the paper properly.

   • Flex, fan, and align the paper edges before loading.
   • Do not mix paper sizes, weights, or types in the same tray.
   • Make sure that the stack height is below the maximum paper fill indicator.


5. Open door B and then remove the jammed paper.



6. Close door B and check if the error remains.
