If both cables are connected, unplug them from the printer. Inspect both cables and the two connectors on the printer for any damage. If the cables and the connection plugs on the printer appear undamaged, reconnect the cables and continue with step 4 below. Make sure to fully plug in the cables. If either of the cables or if one of the connections on the printer appears to be damaged, a service action will be required to correct the issue. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support or an authorized service provider for assistance. Note: You can choose to disconnect the finisher option and use only the base printer until you can arrange service. Removing the finisher option entirely from the printer should clear the error message. |
