Turn off the printer, and then unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.

Unpack the convenience stapler, and then remove all the packing material.

Connect the power supply to the convenience stapler.
Note: Use only the power supply that came with the convenience stapler. Using any other power supply can damage the product.

Attach the cover of the power supply until it clicks into place.

Install the thumb screw into the cover of the power supply.

Remove the column cover above the standard bin.
Note: Make sure that the column cover is disposed properly.

Insert the power supply through the printer.

Install the convenience stapler.

Position the power supply properly.

Attach the stapler cover until it clicks into place.
Note: Make sure that the power supply is secured.

Connect the stapler and the printer power cords to the electrical outlet, and then turn on the printer.
