Microsoft Universal Print: Unable to Print and Device Status as "Stopped"

Issue Description:

Cannot print through MS Universal Print in the Cloud Service and the device status appears as "Stopped"

Important Note:

For printers which are not "Universal Print Ready" and cannot directly register to Universal Print, please refer to this guide to Guide for Setting Up Universal Print in Lexmark Universal Print Ready Printers.


  1. Navigate with your EWS to Security > Manage Permissions and expand

    Function Access


  2. Set "Internet Printing Protocol (IPP)" to Enabled.
