Issue description
This document deals with a "poor fuse grade" print quality defect when the printer is within an ambient environment.
Recommendation
| Step | Action |
| 1 | Power the printer Off for a few minutes, and then perform a test print. |
| 2 | If the print quality defect persists, tap Settings on the control panel, then go to Paper > Tray Configuration. |
| 3 | Select the appropriate paper type currently loaded on the tray and tap Save. |
| 4 | Should the issue persist, tap Settings > Paper > Media Configuration > Media Types. |
| 5 | Adjust the media texture setting to Rough and the media weight setting to Heavy. This will also slightly increase the fusing temperature. E.g., Plain- Texture (Rough) and Weight (Heavy) |
| 6 | Click Submit and perform a test print. |
