Print Quality Defect - Poor Fuse Grade Issues in Ambient Temperatures

Issue description

This document deals with a "poor fuse grade" print quality defect when the printer is within an ambient environment.

Recommendation

1Power the printer Off for a few minutes, and then perform a test print.

If the print quality defect persists, tap Settings on the control panel, then go to Paper > Tray Configuration.

3 Select the appropriate paper type currently loaded on the tray and tap Save.

Should the issue persist, tap Settings > Paper > Media Configuration > Media Types.

Adjust the media texture setting to Rough and the media weight setting to Heavy. This will also slightly increase the fusing temperature.

E.g., Plain- Texture (Rough) and Weight (Heavy)

6Click Submit and perform a test print.
