Click Properties in the title section above.

Issue description

When a user prints a document, small vertical streaks appear from the top of the image and move down the page. The severity of the print quality defect drops as it goes down the page. There is also a left-to-right variability in the defect where it gets worse as you move to the right on the image.

Troubleshooting

StepAction
1

Perform a Power-on-reset (POR) to force a toner density sensor (TDS) calibration cycle.

2Print a test page and check if the print quality defect still appears.
3If the issue persists, increase the toner darkness in the printing preferences.
4

Should the print quality still appear, change the print resolution to 1200 dpi before printing document. To change the print resolution, Navigate to:

Settings > Print > Quality > Print Resolution
