Repeated 202.13 paper jams and/or skewed pages

Issue Description:

There are two possible issues that an end-user could encounter.

  • Frequent 202.13 paper jam issue located in the rear door of the printer with no obvious damage to the paper.
  • Pages are skewed on the second pass of a two-sided (duplex) page. Print could also be shifted to one side or sometimes get wrinkled.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, check the rear door at the fuser paper guide to see if it is dislodged. Follow the steps provided to investigate:

  1. Open the rear cover.

    Caution! The parts may be hot to touch. Wait 30 minutes for the parts to cool off before proceeding.

  1. Look at the right and left side posts on the paper guide.

  2. If the post is NOT in the locating hole, then slide the guide until it is in the correct position as shown in the image below..

  3. Perform another test print and check if the issue persists.

Additional Information:

If the following instances occur:

  • The end user is not able to find the posts.
  • Unwilling or unable to fix the dislocated guide.
  • If the posts are already in the locating hole.
