Lexmark CS/CXx2x&MS/MXx2x: Garbage Print when Accessing File on Printer via PJL

Issue Description:

When performing read or write access to the files in or to the printer using PJL files or command, the printer prints garbage or a printout of the job’s commands.

Sample scenarios:

  • Adding forms to the printer using Forms Manager

  • Adding font data to the user flash

Instead of accessing the file and performing read/write, the printer prints it.

Solution:

Navigate to Settings > Print > Setup and disable "PJL File Access Control"
