Printer stops communicating if Embedded Web Server is refreshed during a printer agent update

Issue description

If the embedded web server (EWS) is refreshed while a Printer Agent update of the Printer Configuration Agent is in progress, the printer can stop communicating with Cloud Fleet Management (CFM).

The printer will be shown as “Not Communicating” in the CFM portal.

Solution

To resolve this issue, the Lexmark device must be re-enrolled using the Cloud Fleet Management portal.
