Blank space on the printer Home Screen when hidden app is added

Issue description

If the Home Screen Customize feature in the Home Screen section of the Printer Details page in the CFM portal is used to add hidden eSF applications, blank spaces are shown on the printer’s home screen. Also, when using the Home Screen View home screen feature, “-BLANK SPACE-” is shown in the location of the hidden eSF applications.

Solution

1. Turn the printer Off and turn it back On after a minute.



2. If the issue persists, call Lexmark Support and have the following available.

If you are experiencing a similar issue, but your printer model is released from 2012 to 2014, input your product and search for ”Blank space shown on printer Home screen when hidden application added using Home screen customize”.
