Solution

If displaying the 15 alphanumeric ID is a requirement for your Lexmark device to enroll in the OnePrint Subscription program, follow the recommended guidelines below:

  • Printer ID = Not connected
    • The device is not set up for network connection. Make sure that the device is set up for wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet network cable) connection.
  • Printer ID = (has no message)
    • Contact support for assistance.
  • Printer ID = Needs Internet Connection
    • The device is set up for a network connection but has no access to the internet. Check that the wireless/wired router connected to the device has no restrictions for connected devices to access the internet. Contact your IT department or network service provider for assistance. Note: Port 443 needs to be enabled on the router or firewall for the Lexmark device to connect to the internet.
  • Printer ID = Device is not connected with Lexmark Cloud Services

Note:  Access the printer EWS by typing the printer IP address into the URL field of your browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari). For example, enter http://MFP_IP_Address, where MFP_IP_Address is the IP address of the printer.

        2. Once connected, on the left side of the screen under Settings, select Cloud Services, as shown below.

        3. Select the Cloud Services Enrollment dropdown.
