Some Characters of the Watermark Comes Out Dark When Printed

Issue description

When printing a document with a watermark on it, some of the characters are printed out dark.

Recommendation

This issue is mostly seen when 'Halftone' is set to 'Detail' which causes some of the characters to come out dark.

To avoid this issue:

  • Make sure to set 'Halftone' to 'Normal'
  • Delete the watermark from the original document and use the watermark setting in the driver.

Explanation

It was determined that this is an issue with the Microsoft watermark and the interaction with the fine detail screen which needs to be resolved on their end.
