What you will see

When printing a document with a watermark, the watermark is printed with crosshatches. See comparison from a normal watermark to a watermark with crosshatches below:

Solution

Changing the halftone quality settings in the printer will fix the issue. Follow any of these methods:

Method 1. From the printer menu settings, navigate through Menu > Settings > Print > Quality > Halftone > select Normal.

Method 2. Access the printer's embedded web server (EWS) by typing the printer IP on a browser then navigate through Settings > Print > Quality > Halftone > Normal > then select the Save button to save changes.

Method 3. Delete the watermark from the original document and use the watermark setting in the printer driver when printing.
