Light horizontal bands (Jitter) appearing on the printout

Issue description

The print output depicts light horizontal bands. Click here to see sample image.

Solution

Slower print speed will improve the print quality. Printing in Quiet Mode will fix the issue.

From the printer Control Panel, follow the steps below:

1. Press Settings button.



2. Navigate to:

   • Device > Maintenance > Config Menu > Device Operation > Quiet Mode

Note:  Press the Left and Right arrow buttons for the menu selection and press OK button in selecting an option.

From the printer Embedded Web Server (EWS):

1. Type the printer IP address on a browser



2. Navigate to Device > Maintenance > Config Menu > Device Operations > select Quiet Mode then click the Save button to save changes.
