What you will see

When a user prints an A4 document, they encounter a repeated 232.13 paper jam error and it usually gets stuck in the duplex area of the printer.

Possible cause

A possible cause for this error message could indicate that the tray side guides are set too loosely (especially when using an A4 type media), which could cause the issue of the paper getting stuck in the duplex reference edge and register the 232.13 error code.

Troubleshooting

StepAction
1

Clear any media that is blocking the paper path and perform a test print.

2

If the issue persists, press the Settings button on the printer then use the arrow keys and navigate to:

  • Paper > OK
  • Tray Configuration > OK
  • Paper Size / Type > OK
  • Tray 1 > OK
  • Tray 1Size > OK

Check the tray guides and make sure that it properly matches the media is loaded in the tray.
