Lexmark MB/B2236: 31.40E During Printing and Missing Part of Image

Issue Description:

Customer receives an error while device is printing – 31.40E. Customer also notices part of their printed page disappears.

Solution:

If print or copy job has some missing print on any of the pages, try the following:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the ethernet and USB cables.

  2. Wait 10 seconds before re-connecting the cables, and power back on the printer. IMPORTANT: Also avoid shocking the printer with static electricity, especially in the winter time, cold, or low humidity conditions.
