Lexmark B3340
User is having issues pulling out Tray 1 from a newly unboxed printer.
Difficulty in removing the input tray from the printer during initial setup is most likely due to the duplex jam door interfering with the paper guide. Refer to these instructions on how to remove a paper jam in the duplex unit.
If the issue persists, perform the following:
Unplug the printer.
Make sure that all packaging materials have been removed.
Insert your hand behind and underneath the printer and push or lift.
You should be able to feel the ribs of the duplex jam door and hear a ‘click’. The click indicates that the jam door has been positioned correctly.
If the tray is no longer stuck and a (A) white latch and (B) black post is found in the paper tray, the duplex jam door must be replaced. Contact the next level of support for further diagnosis.
