Printer wireless connection is slow or printer appears unresponsive and drops wireless connection

Issue description

The printer is unresponsive, loses wireless network connection and the ping response time is poor.

Solution

Update the device firmware to the latest version.

Explanation:

The 802.1x wireless legacy power save mode can cause issues with poor ping response times and poor responsiveness in Wireless network mode with some wireless APs/routers and networks. This mode was enabled by default in the FW6 releases.
