Determine MFP Firmware Compatibility for eSF Apps Without the ReadMe File

Install problem; App Not Working; App installation issue; Failure; Fails

The instructions below offer an alternate method for determining supported printers and firmware levels for any eSF application.


NOTE: This method only works if the customer has a copy of the flash file, e.g., scan to network/Remote Copy eSF.fls.

What to do

  1. Open the .fls file with a text editor (MS Wordpad or
    Notepad     work fine).

  2. Check the following @PJL Comment line at the top of the page.
