Print Issue with Print Release (Premise v.1.3.x)

Audience: Lexmark and Parnters onlyWhat you will see

Print job does not print when the print job is released from the printer.

What to try
  1. Create a test.txt file, and then save it in the network share location.

  2. Log in to the Solutions Platform Web portal as an administrator.

  3. Click the Print Release tab > Print ReleaseSettings.

  4. Copy the URI location.

  5. Paste it on the URL field, and then add test.txt; for example, the address on the browser should be http://ipaddress/VirtualDirectoryName/test.txt.

  6. If the file does not open properly, check the permission of the Print Jobs folder or the Virtual Directory settings with IIS.

  7. If the file opens properly, then make sure the printer can resolve the server name in your URI location by using telnet on Port 10000.
