Printer Configuration Agent no longer communicating (or no network connection) after FW Upgrade to 230.039

Issue description

When firmware is upgraded to 230.039, there is a possibility that internet communication / connection for eSF apps will fail. This includes Printer Configuration Agent (PCA).

Solution

Recommended option:

  1. Download Printer Enrollment Tool (PET) from the portal.

  2. Enroll problematic printer. The issue should be resolved.

  3. Update to latest FW version (230.041 or above). See article for Downloading the latest Lexmark printer firmware.

Option 2:

  1. Contact customer support for latest version of Printer Configuration Agent (PCA)

  2. Install fls without uninstalling already installed PCA (this should fix the issue)

  3. Continue to update to latest FW version (230.041 or above)

Option 3:

  1. Contact customer support for how to upgrade to latest firmware.

  2. Follow customer support steps (this should fix the issue).
