The Lexmark device locks up and goes offline when you click the Save and Verify button under the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) settings.
After restarting the printer and it goes online, searching for an LDAP user (or use the first letter of the user), causes the printer to get stuck and you manually need to cancel the search.
Power the printer Off and Power it back On again after one minute.
After the printer goes Online, view the LDAP settings under Security and check if the settings were saved.
Search for an LDAP user and see if the printer still freezes.
