Poor Fuse Grade In cold environments

Issue description

Fuser grade issue is seen in the following conditions:

• Media is heavy (i.e., 24#)
• High coverage print
• Cold environments

Solution

1. Check for the existence of non-genuine Lexmark supplies* or refilled cartridges. Use the online authentication tool to verify whether you have a Genuine Lexmark cartridge.



2. Check the Paper Type, for the media loaded in the printer's paper tray.



3. Check the Paper Weight for the type of media selected.



4. Confirm whether the media meets the approved paper specifications.
