Install an imaging unit.
Note: This is a Smart chip error.
Remove the toner cartridge and imaging unit and then reinstall the supplies.
If the error message reappears, replace the imaging unit under warranty.
Note: This is a Capacitive Toner Level Sensing (CTLS) error.
If the error message is gone but comes back intermittently, the root cause is likely the imaging unit and should be replaced under warranty.
Note: If a spare imaging unit is available, try swapping the supply to confirm a new imaging unit will fix the issue.
