Last sheet not feeding properly from Tray 1 when printing labels

Issue description

When printing labels from Tray 1, the last sheet in the tray does not feed properly which results in the printer declaring an error.

The severity of the issue depends on the brand of label that is being used.

Solution

1. Since the mis-feed only occurs with the last sheet from Tray 1, load more sheets into the tray and continue printing. If the issue persists, proceed to Step 2.



2. Feed the labels from the multipurpose feeder.



3. Use a different type of label. Refer to the Lexmark Paper and Specialty Media Guide.



4. If the preceding steps do not solve the issue, purchase an input option tray to feed the labels. Contact Support for assistance.
