When a document goes through the output bin, a premature bin full error message appears even if the bin is far less than the declared capacity and printing is stopped.
Other issues encountered when the error code appears:
- Users are directed to empty the standard output bin.
- It is observed that the paper stack in the standard bin is curled
- Once user clears the paper stack, printing continues
Clearing the output bin
This is one of the easiest way to clear the error message on the printer.
Note: If the curl continues for succeeding sheets after printing is resumed, the machine will again declare a Bin Full condition prematurely.
Flip the media stack over in the tray source.
This procedure aims to move the exposed surfaces of the media stack to the bottom of the tray, thereby reversing the L-curl direction.
