Overview
A "tree" is a paper defect caused when the paper buckles and forms a tiny ripple that is "ironed" in by the fuser. Humid environments are more likely to cause the paper to have a "wave" or "ripple" to the leading edge that generally lead to the trees.

Solution
Perform these steps below to fix the issue.
| Step | Action |
| 1 | Check the condition of the paper in the tray. If it has a "wave"/"ripple" to the leading edge or excessive curl, then the paper should be replaced with a fresh ream. |
| 2 | Move the printer to a less humid environment. |
