Lexmark CS92x, CX92x and XC9225 ? Missing Staple on the Print Output

Issue description

A print job is supposed to have dual staples in it, but only one is showing on the print output. The staples at the end of one of the booklet finisher staple cartridges may have gotten jammed or mangled, thus causing the issue.

Recommended solution

Perform these steps below to fix the issue:

StepAction
1

Make sure not to exceed the sheet capacity specified for the stapler (i.e., 50 sheets of paper bond up to 90 gsm, 30 sheets for 91-120 gsm, and 15 sheets of 121 -209 gsm media).

2

Check that the staple cartridges are not empty.

3 Make sure that the staples at the end of the cartridge are not jammed or mangled. Remove any staple jam from the end of the staple cartridge to resume the stapling job.
